 This is the last day of the summer holidays for teachers in Spain so using the time to upload photos showing some of the jewellery I´ve made. Also have to prepare things for tomorrow...........so much to do but most things have been left ´til the last minute as usual.

 Went out for lunch today at the river....not much water to be found but the dogs enjoyed themselves.

Sant Llorenç Savall

A  few days ago went out for a drive and ended up in Sant Llorenç Savall. Couldn´t put the pics up because didn´t have time. Here they are. As you can see the streets were deserted due to the extremely high temperatures.

Starting up an online shop!!!!!

Have spent the last few days finding out about starting up a shop on zazzle. Seems quite complicated as my computer keeps "hanging"  Got as far as putting a name for it......... d4dehra.

 Today is a local `fiesta´ ......shops are closed , so I´m going to upload some of my artwork into my photo album. My dogs are looking disgusted. I think they wanted to go out on a long run again but I´m not going anywhere today as there are too many people out there having picnics and driving around.

Back home exhausted.





 Just back from a picnic near Montserrat with a friend . Took the dogs and they behaved themselves surprisingly well.  The weather was fantastic. Went down into Monistrol de Montserrat for a coffee afterwards. A lovely way to spend a Sunday.

Painting

Have been painting all summer....something I´ve never had time for before. I´ve started off with acrylic paints and felt tips for detail.  Last night finished another one .

Reading

Just finished a great book called 'The Lieutenant' . A very simple story, brilliantly written with  lots to think about. Set mainly in Australia in the 18th century it tells of the friendship between Daniel Rooke and an aboriginal child . It´s based on a true story.

Catch a Falling Star

It´s 02:15 a.m. and I´ve just come in from lying on my back on my terrace. Been looking for the famous Perseids. Tonight there is a full moon so didn´t see a great many. Would have stayed out but the mosquitos were driving me mad. I hate those little vampires.

Well, here I go again. Hopefully I will maintain this blog regularly as I have more free time. As you can see I have put a photo of my beautiful dogs Max and Saí instead of one of my own as they are much prettier than I am!  Don´t know what I´d do without them . They´re great company and look after me as much as I look after them. Here are some more photos of them.
